The trade-off
The resort strip is spread out, so walks and trips between areas can be longer than they look. Main roads get busy, and seasonal surf can limit the kind of beach days you have in mind.

Choose Khao Sok if...

- You like guided forest outings, kayaking and boat trips more than city sightseeing.
