Trang rewards a stop for its food and everyday town atmosphere. Use a central base for breakfast shops and local streets, then arrange transport for mainland outings. The coast and island piers are separate journeys; staying in Trang town does not provide a beach outside the hotel.
Keep in mind
Beaches and island departures require road transfers; town accommodation is a different experience from an island stay.
